ANDREW JASKO, AMFT

Andrew Jasko is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT146397) who is passionate about helping individuals and couples heal and thrive in their lives and relationships. Andrew views healing as a natural process that can be navigated gently and will work with you to find acceptance, happiness, and fulfilment in your life, with all its challenges, and to reduce your painful patterns and emotional distress.

As a trauma-informed, Oxford-educated therapist, Andrew brings a unique combination of compassion and directness to the table. Through simple awareness in present-moment experience, Andrew will help you trace your distressing symptoms to core wounds and beliefs. He will support you to befriend and work with rather than against your fears and inner blocks and to approach healing from a place of calm, curious attentiveness, guided by your own intuition.

Andrew’s areas of clinical focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, LGBTQIA+ issues, healing from conversion therapy, non-monogamy and polyamory issues, and psychedelic and spiritual integration. Additionally, Andrew is a specialist in religious trauma, cults, purity culture, and guru abuse. As a former minister with multiple degrees in Judeo-Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, secular, and spiritual frameworks, Andrew deconverted from coercive religion and healed from its traumatic impact on his life. He helps people deconstruct harmful beliefs and rebuild a sense of meaning and identity based on their authentic perspective–whether that’s secular, spiritual, religious, or undecided.
